Still, if s/h/it is ignoring your PMs, spamming every thread s/h/it is in won't do you any good either. I don't see why it's such a big deal, since it's nothing you made yourself (I assume?), but if it really bothers you this much, try talking to one of the "mods" and see if they can solve it/send a message to Pes to solve it. Or just contact the dread pirate directly, if you dare.

Dunno, thought it was one of the stock avi's offered, but then again I have been wrong before. I've seen it all over the net, though, with different phrases. Maybe if we could find a pirate owl? It may just be a case of Owl not being back to the site since it was noticed? Dunno.

If you consider googling "cute kitten" and "pirate hat" and then pasting the two together as made, then yes I suppose. I just meant that it was hardly something that is hard to imitate, or took a lot of work/creativity. That said, I know that some people put a lot of thought into their avatars, and feel that they're a big part of their e-persona (but in those cases you'd choose something more personal, like calalily's scary hair or Paden's panthers, not a random cat with a pirate hat which is very common on these boards), so I can see how it sucks. I just don't see how it warrants all this butthurt and spamming.

To me, that's still making it  I know even if I wanted something that simple done, I wouldn't be able to do it. And honestly to find a good avvie, or even a good picture for it can take some time....*reminisces about popomundo....*

You are correct, it doesn't need all the attention, and honestly I would like to know if owl has even logged into the site to defend/give their side of the story. Yes Karu had that avi for a long time, but do we know for certain Owl got the avvie from Karu?
