In the tiny little town I used to live in in Ohio, the only school was K-12 and had three stories plus a basement.

Same here, and I live in PA. Our schools had a surprisingly large amount of students.

What, and you'll still laugh when I say I don't want my stuff on fat sims??? Whyyyy? So mean!!einz  Cheesy

right now your stuff is on a lot of fat sims in my game! blame the butler who will not stop cooking!

Is THAT what the butler does? Here I thought they were just giving us an innane rehash of the maid, so I wasn't even bothering. Now I have to hire one!

though Diet Pepsi is yucky Tongue.

What?  You dare to mock the beverage of the GODS?  Grin   I figure with the amount I drink, if I get in an accident and lose a lot of blood, they can just pump diet pepsi in my veins and I'll be just fine!

On the rare occasions when I order pop a carbonated beverage, I can never bring myself to order diet. It just tastes so...odd. And flat. I'd rather have the sickly sweetness of regular Pepsi/Coke.

I often get faint from having too much blood in my coffee stream, however, so I can't talk much about unusual beverage cravings.

Question: will this really be submitted to the creator challenge? If so, do you all expect it to get accepted?
Yes, we intend to do so. And I'm prepared to twist some arms to see to it that it does.

Oh, and see to it that it also simultaneously functions as a REGULAR grill. In addition to babies.

Just curious: is this going to be coded so that the baby actually dies/disappears from the family when you roast it? Or is it just going to be a joke, where the baby gets stuck in it and psuedo-lit on fire, but actually survives?

Either way, if this pans out, I'm super-interested in seeing how it works. </nerd>

Would this object just be for our viewing pleasure? Or would you be able to roast actual Sim babies?

I'm in Bodyshop right now, and I tried Yuxi's Uni Fauxhawk Conversion on a Sim - it's awesome! She really is talented. Her base game messy hair for chicks is awesome, too. That would here, if anyone's interested!

OMFG, FAUXHAWKS, I LOVE FAUXHAWKS! When I finally end up donating my hair, I'm probably going to cut it so that I can make a fauxhawk.  Cheesy

I have a friend whose family salts everything to death; I have no clue how any of them live past the age of 40. Her father actually salts his salads.

I'm from Pennsylvania, and I actually see a good deal of scrapple sandwiches at fairs and such when the Amish come.

That's half my problem with custom content.  I don't like huge horking houses in my game.  They slow it down and it seems ridiculous to have a house so big that your sims will need over an hour of their time to get from one end to the other.  I much prefer smaller houses, but a lot of the room sets people create seem to need a tremendous amount of space.

Yeah, and a lot of times, when I download a bigger house, the house tends to be full of excess crap that my sims will never use, with no room for skill objects or pets. Extra sitting rooms, randomly-placed plants...I usually just get small houses or download unfurnished versions of the larger houses.

I didn't mean it that way. I meant to show that the aforementioned free content looks nicer than most of the pay content I've seen. It has nothing to do with her "not uploading what I want," because technically, I can just ask her for it. I just thought the method was a bit odd, and I went on a mini-tangent about people who won't share things because they're "posessive" of their Sims. Mouseyblue is not one of those people.

It sounded like that - no way should a creator be forced to upload anything and the wording you used and the way you structured them made it seem you were bitching about not having her sims. And people can do what the hell they want with their sims, including spamming the forums with images. Heck, there are certain sims I would never give out as I spent a lot of time on them AND they are selfsims of friends and family. Like with any creation, people feel attached to them.

If you feel attached to them, fine, but I personally don't understand it. I didn't mean for it all to come out as nasty sounding as it did. I apologize.

Pringeta, you're in the wrong thread. I'm not sure if there is a right thread for your subject, or I'd point you there.

No, I'm not. I was replying to Kragey.  I just didn't quote the conversation.

Sorry, I should have said Kragey. Who is definitely in the wrong thread. This is "free content pwns paysite crap", not "this creator doesn't upload what I want."

I'm pretty sure that Mouseyblue doesn't openly share her Sims because she uses skintone blends blended from certain free artists who don't allow their skins to be shared/used for blending.

ETA: I think I read a thread about this at GOS.

Really? Huh, never heard about that. I'll have to find that thread.
13  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: Free Content Pwns Paysite Crap on: 2008 December 26, 01:47:16
MouseyBlue makes some really pretty Sims and nice hair recolors. Her method is a bit counterproductive--you PM her and she sends you the package files--but they're still interesting Sims.

Maybe I'm just very share-oriented, but I don't get the point of showing off pictures of Sims you created, then hoarding them. WTF, it's pixels on your computer! It's not like you're sharing a boyfriend! Anybody with the same CC and a decent amount of patience could remake him, so why not slough a few minutes off of the process and just upload them?
14  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: Jassims.com, a new paysite? on: 2008 December 26, 01:39:03
She states that it cannot be called theft when she didn't know.

Sounds like my former roommate, who forged my signature to take out a card in my name (giving her access to my student accounts), then said it didn't count as forgery because she didn't know.

Honestly, I don't know how people can think that counts. If ignorance was a good excuse, people could lie and say, "Oh, I didn't know rape was wrong, so it doesn't matter."

I'm pretty sure it refers to mothers doing their "traditional motherly duty" and being pregnant, but I like the machete answer more.  Wink
Why is your avatar's ass full of gas that apparently expands when heated by the lazor-thing?
