This is just one of almost 2 pages on TSR of curtain remeshes that are all pay.

A pay coffee table. At least the creator gives you warning before buying it:
Quote
Please note that slots are not adjusted, when placing items on the table going down, they WILL float in air.

The creator's description of theses are
Quote
Cheaply made window decorations!
Yep, they do look cheap, and ugly.

Anyone want to buy some oil and vinegar bottles?

The one on the left hurts to look at.

If you think this is bad, think what it looks like with its skirt

Those would give me such a headache in game I would burn any sim wearing them

I love one of the comments to this
Quote
Why in the world use a GUY to model WET LIPSTICK? * shakes head and doesn't download*
Then there was a reply to that comment
Quote
@sisalyshoes oh wow. Fail. maybe because it's for guys! Duh!
And another

Some guys have moist, dewy lips...  Maybe he likes his chapstick.  Or maybe he's a little girly... Who cares?  *does download*

Now this last picture isn't an uploaded creation, but its a pic in Chaz's gallery

It's a Mark Liddell Esquire Shoot

The reason that hair is free is because this hair by ulker:

is pay. There were a lot of people complaining about it being pay and wanting it to be free, so Thomas stepped in and had this to say:

Quote
Enough with the I want this free please. Look forward to the hair coming out tomorrow instead by Ulker that will indeed be free.

On an unrelated note, I'm looking at Thomas' profile, his banner says Pixel Pusher, for housing he has "Mansion," And worst yet, hes going to be a father soon according to his About Me section

And you know its just going to get worse and worse in the coming weeks as more and more people on TSR start making objects.

I hate ruffles, but even more than that I hate ruffles that were photoshopped in.

I don't want to know what is in the bottle, it looks pretty crusty.

It is a good thing this isn't pay, this is shitty on so many levels.

I am so scared to click the link. I've been downloading more than playing the game, and I want to try and limit the amount of CC I get before WA comes out, but I just have to look.

ETA: A really nice window is here: http://therrysims3.livejournal.com/

And 4 SIP conversions are here: http://www.blackpearlsims.com/showthread.php?t=31227

657 MB of that 1 GB is clothing. I thought patterns were going to be my downfall when we starting getting them, but I have downloaded like 1 maybe 2 patterns since July, and I only have 76.8 MB of patterns. I'm going to eventually need something like Delphy's Download Organiser, that is what helped me get my Sims 2 downloads down so much, but I would love for a plug in on it where you can view an image of the file, because a lot of the file names, especially for patterns, don't give a good enough description of what the file is, so it makes it hard to go through and delete things, since we can't delete from in game.

I just have to share this comment that was in posted on TSR about their news update for Workshop:

Quote
cool this is sweet u guys r awsome have u evr considedered merging with modthesims.info?

Someone really has no clue about the relationship between MTS and TSR, do they?
85  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: Freesite Creation Finds - Round THREE - The Sims 3 on: 2009 September 18, 22:13:44
lol, I'm scared to see what my Mods folder will look like by December, I already have 1.01 GB of CC, excluding store crap, which makes up about another about 500 MBs.

But I am glad to say a few weeks ago I got my Sims 2 CC down. Including everything that is in the folders in in my Program Files, and counting all the store, converted stories, and pre-order stuff I got from MATY, I now have 18,388 items of CC, and I think that is good seeing as I had somewhere between 30,000 and 40,000 items of CC before I did the purge. Smiley

They have some really cool objects here, a broom and dust pan, place settings, a step ladder, basket of oranges and some other things.

Yeah that outfit is underwear, but hard to tell when you don't see a full pic of it. The only other pic of it was the little icon that is made when something is uploaded to TSR from the workshop.

Want a dining chair? It goes with this table(both pay):

Now, anyone want to pay for a barrel?

Or you could pay for an oil drum:

There curtains were ugly in Sims 2, they are worse in Sims 3.

Is it just me, or is this table floating?

And this is the TV to go with the above table.

I bet these look worse in game. But why would you want curtains that cover the window up in Sims 3, cause its going to block the light from coming in.

The above two are part of the same set. Both are still ugly.

Now I don't make objects or clothing, but I do think you should show the entire outfit in the preview, or am I just wrong.  Wink

Can anyone tell my why people are doing this. This is what the description of this hair is:

Quote
This is only one Color. You have to Download the other Colors seperately.

We have a full recolor system for hairs built into the game, yet people are still making hair so that you have to download the blond, red, brown, and black colors and you can't recolor the hair in game. What if I wanted to make this hair use a bright orange color I saved?

And Cara went swimsuit crazy:

And this next one if for teens only:

And Dr House, that last picture you posted, I thought that was for Sims 2 till I saw it look at that shit above.

Thats what I was thinking Missbonbon, someone sending them a PM pointing them to MTS. It would give their things a larger and nicer audience.
