Am I the only one who thinks the first announcement in the shout box should be changed to "Paysites: Now more destroy-worthy than Walt"? I've been waiting for the Pirate King to do something along those lines since this whole fiasco came to light Cry

Snarky, you seriously made me shudder with that. It's just...wrong.

By the way, I loved sim secrets this week. I think this was the first week I actually laughed out loud. Thanks for making the trip worth it!

Peeps are the work of the devil. But peep jousting is fun. I'll never understand why stores stock so many peeps when they know--year after year--that no one buys them. It's inconceivable!

Lol! I never thought I'd say something funny or witty enough to be immortalized in a Demotivational poster! Thanks, FiltyPriest, you've made my night.

Might I also add that I adore your avi.

Someone should make that into a macro. Talk about summing up TSR Roll Eyes I think that "You've been banned...No Reason" business is simultaneously funny and incredibly sad Cheesy

You should totally create a sockpuppet and upload them again under a different description. Do something stupidly 12 like "zOMG! Teh best sims EvAR!!!oneone!eleventyEiNZ!" You'll get people's attention, they'll download, and it'll take Thomass twice as long to realize what just happened.

Thats an odd take on it.

What do you think would happen if Thomas just quit? He got a life, and just never got on the internets again? Would Atwat rule, or get stoned by the angry mods?

It's more of an "I've got too much time" take on it. To be honest though, I think the people she's hurt would rather just forget the whole fiasco if they could, not follow her around to stone her. If any stoning occurs, I think it's more likely to come from one of her various personalities. A public (heh, almost wrote pubic!) stoning seems just like the kind of attention grabbing thing she'd do to get that last bit of sympathy from people.

*fangirl* I did it anyway.

But yeah...I'm wondering why TSR hasn't imploded already. People are making SimSecrets about her (unless, of course that was you wonderful people). It seriously blows my mind to think that they could continue to have someone so toxic on their staff. I'm waiting for the day Atwa completely looses it and lets us know what she's got dangling over Thomas's head. OR...this whole thing could be one big conspiracy?! Maybe Thomas is tired of TSR, but Steve wants to continue with it. Thomas and Atwa have cooked up a plan to continue to profit from TSR while making it implode from the inside. Mostly for poops and giggles because Steve won't back out with them. Once TSR is completely done away with, they'll turn their attention to TS3, where they plan to start fresh--Thomas and Atwa will be no more. And for some reason, I'm now thinking Bonnie and Clyde. And yes, you don't have to wonder: I do have too much time on my hands right now. Dinner is already cooked, and I don't feel like doing homework.

*fake edit* Cala, thanks for putting that image in my mind. It puts the lotion on it's skin!!

FilthyPriest, if you're looking for the post talking about Thomass's alleged infertility, it's in this thread. It was a post by coconut. And I'd like to thank all of you. Hotel California is stuck in my head, and I didn't even click the link!

I think it's very telling that EA is one of the few game companies who turn AWAY more customers with every released detail for an upcoming game. Way to go, EA. At least you're at the top of the pack for something Roll Eyes

I tried so hard not to contribute to the OT here but... My biggest problem is that they're not sims anymore. That's the trend that I hate the most right now in the community. People photoshop the hell out of their sims, and at that point, they aren't sims anymore. I'm not up for real life incest in any shape or form, and it doesn't bother me since I know it's not real, but i don't even find that picture "beautiful." Sadly, it's people who's sims aren't sims anymore that win all the contests and drive newcomers away.

What's the purple thing hanging down below the top? Is it supposed to be a string? And I sure hope those aren't pajamas/underwear. That belt is gonna hurt...

Is it just me, or does the photoskinned Chaz laxtex plastic seem really...*really* bright? And shiny? Like the sin was glinting off the model's boobs and blinding the camera man?

On a side note: a was trying to type 'sun' and it came out 'sin' instead. I'm leaving it because I think it's oddly appropriate.

Thank you Cala....I was fine, had removed gleet from my mind. Then you brought it up again. I still prefer to hover. It makes it easier to stand when I'm done anyway. There's nothing like sitting on a low public toilet only to realize you can't exactly get up when you're done. Srsly. Not fun. I thought about taking a little lysol spray, but I think that might have been a little extreme. Bottom line for me: if the bathroom looks dirty or smells really bad, I just don't go.

I've tried those paper cover things. At my job a couple years ago, I trusted the toilets enough to use those and be satisfied. And at my college. But only in one bathroom. Most of the time, I'll just take half a role of tissue and put that on the toilet seat, of course putting a protector on top of that. But I've learned that if you hover the -right- way, you usually don't sprinkle when you tinkle. And if you do, you need to wipe that mess up. Although, I'll have to say I'd take the sprinkles over a log in the bowl any day.

Cellgirl, I understand about having busted knees. I've got arthritis in my knees, and on a bad day I wouldn't really want to do that. On the upside, I was more or less able to predict rain for about a month. Now, me and my weather-predicting arthritis knees are getting a little rusty. Unless this crazy weather's been throwing us off.
