Growing up on a beach, we saw seagulls steal and eat anything they thought was edible. Especially hotdogs that were on the grill. Even had them attack a fishing line that was being cast out with bait on it. My mom had to chase the bird down the beach to get the rod and reel back and to try and keep the stupid gull from swallowing the hook.

My OB/GYN gave me demerol after my son was born, but it gave me such terrible hallucinations, I only took it twice. After the second time, I called the doctor, thinking something was really wrong with me, and he told me to just throw them away since that was a sign of being allergic to them. I can't take codeine as well, makes me all fluttery and floaty, just like a butterfly.... So my drug of choice for pain, is good ol' ibuprophen (been taking 1200mgs daily for nearly 15 years for inflamation of my shoulders, elbows and wrist), and have started showing signs of long term use (gastritis and IBS), but can't get thru the day without it. Damned if I do, damned if I don't!

I had that happen with a few of her clothes, I lost the screen shot of my sim with her bare arse sticking out the back...it was pretty funny, but I would be pissed if I payed for that.
Is this the one?

Warning: Large Pic Below! I'm not sure what Dot thinks she is accomplishing, except for showing how uninformed she is about the saving of jpgs. And how they degrade each time you make a new copy from the copy before it (original pic, copy, copy of copy, etc...). But after all this time (and being made the butt SHAPE of jokes), someone needs to let her in on this big secret, and to stop looking like some dim BULB. All it's doing is making her and TSR look even more crazy and desperate. Oooh, Wait...that could be a GOOD thing. *rips off piratical pirate face and plasters on happy, sparkly face* Terrific job, Dot, keep it up!!

blablablabla...I don't browse this forum in Firefox- I use IE ... blablablalblabla ... I'm still trying to transition to Firefox ... blablablablabla ... I can't get myself out of the rut of using IE for this forum. ... blablablabla ...
Well then you suck until further notice. Dude - there's a DEATH TO CALALILY up there for a reason. I've been transitioning for at least a year and a half. Pity Stupid Calalily and don't have flashy things. You could always just use the IE Plugin for Firefox, to help with those withdrawal pains while transitioning.

I guess I was lucky, I didn't have any bad teachers (graduated in 1980). Of course, I never went to kindergarten, since that was considered preschool back then in my town.

Between Schoolhouse Rock and my 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Brown, I had no problem learning basic math. Every Friday, Mrs. Brown would give us 100 math problems on flashcards. You had about 5 seconds to look and write the answer down before the next one. So we had to figure it out in our heads, memorize multiplication, etc...as quickly as possible. Same for reading and spelling. You memorized and retained that memory. No phonics, which IMO is the worst way to teach a child to read because they learn to spell that way as well (my son was a victim of "phonics", hard to undo the damage). Since my daughter has a slight hearing loss in one ear, she had a hard time telling certain sounds apart. So, they had to teach her the old fashioned way, memorizing, and she has never had a problem with spelling or reading.
Sometimes, the old ways are the best ways.
