Actually, I think some TSR stuff was acquired while artist was SA and it was free. That is one of the reasons I asked if acquiring it was hacking. We could have all her stuff without paying, or doing anything actually illegal. I don't really use the booty, do we have Uncle Jan's stuff?

Uncle Jan, whoever she is these days, doesn't have a link, but all her files are there. I tried to DL a few just to see if I could, and hey presto, the genius of the Sims world has zero security. I know she hasn't put a link up, but I learnt how to secure a web directory in minutes while looking for something else. It's not as if she's gone in for a complicated site design. (Using a spaz font and the same background on every site does not constitute design.)

Hec, have you got Daemon Tools, or similar? I have either a mini image or noCD crack for all my TS2 games. Basegame I have mini image, haven't found a crack for that one but it makes switching a lot easier.

EAxis change the file format slightly for every EP and make it non-backwards compatible. Presumably this makes people buy more so they can DL all the cool stuff.
If you have started the house with EPs in you will need to start fromn scratch in order for it to be useable without EPs. It will just crash her game otherwise. If you do get BaseGameStarter you will not need to move anything from your game as there will be a separate Sims2 folder in MyDocs\EA for the basegame. This is necessary because of the sucky non-compatibility business

I tried to watch it and it told me I needed QuickTime. Bugger that. I've tried to live with QT before and I loathe that it auto installs iTunes with it. I choose my own software thank-you very much Mr Jobs. Stop trying so hard to be Bill. You missed that boat a long time ago.

Thanks Hec. I just wanted to make sure they all knew before something happened. Everyone seems to be holding back so I was just strengthening their resolve not to stoop to her level.

One thing I will say for Jan, she makes HChangeri look sane.

There are few things that are not okay to do in this forum and posting anyone's personal details is very high on that short list. Even if it is available for public viewing on the internet, don't post a link to it in the forum.
