But here's what I did. First I loaded it in JFade's 3Viewer tool. I 'installed' it but chose to install it on the desktop. It created a package file with a hashed up gibberish name which I renamed. Then I dragged the package file onto Pescado's s3rc.exe and voila 22 down to 1.5 and no launcher needed to install.
I have followed your tips at MATY and they were successful, so I am thankful for this. I am afraid my brain can't figure these tools, but your tip above looks easy enough. EDIT: I was so excited about learning something new, I forgot to post Heidi's conversion of my favorite Sims 2 set to Sims 3 @ Exotic Elements.

SimsControl uses TSRW for clothes, which comes in Sims3Packs, as you all know. I would love to have the Nazariopilar's clothes in my game, but her Sims3Pack files are not compressed. The elder shirts are 20MB, that's a bit much for me. She have some gorgeous tunics, but the S3P file is 24MB.
I am still trying to understand how to compress files in S3P's just so I can enjoy Nazariopilar's work.

I don't know much about the Workshop tool, but I imagine that it was used to import a file and make a Sims3Pack, so that creation ( ) can be used in the game. (I feel sick saying that) Worst than only having one color, brown, I bet the file is about 9 to 12MBs. I am not claiming to know about creating or how the files are generated in that tool, but most (not all) creators using that tool, the packages are too large.

I "heart" you CatOfWar for posting at the BBS. It was so cool to see the thread grow, so now the moderators should take notice that the "sheeple" are getting restless. I will be following to see if anyone will respond, if not, then the truth will come out on EA and their minions. Time to wake up!!

This was priceless for me, I haven't LOL Whut! since someone uploaded the pigtails with the gaps in the mesh. Loved Delphy's response, giving the hex value to make your own.

I downloaded Cemre's little girls longer ponytail from TSR. Tried it out on a little girl who was in a active household. It showed up okay while playing the house. When I switched households, the little girl showed up on the community lot, but with the original mesh that the hair comes from, not the Cemre hair. Since Cemre used the TSR Workshop tool to make the hair, then it is a complete failure. HP custom hair holds up on community lots, so what's the problem with your "special" tools Thomass? I was too tired to get pics, but will try to tonight. EDIT: Wanted to add, even Peggy's and Rose's hair show up on community lots with sims in unactive households.

I am glad I was not eating or drinking while reading the story by Snarky. FTW!
Is there a mass exodus of SA's from T$R? First I find Lirunchik's work @ Black Pearl, now RICCI2882 is uploading her work to Black Pearl. Nikisatez05 mini site is empty of creations, but can find them floating around the site if you know the title. What's up? (giggling now)
EDIT: Misunderstood RICCI. Her site called simholic-r-us was closed but she is still at T$R. Sorry for the mix up.

That's the thing, I didn't use T$R stuff on the first lot. The second lot had a terrain by cyclonesue that was free and in the content comments she said upload with lots and use as you like. I am always careful like that. Oops, sorry nerianna, I missed your comment. Thanks so much. Thanks CatOfWar, I will keep that in mind.

I will be writing a letter as soon as I finish using my "free day". Don't know if that will put me on watch, but I really want to contribute. I just don't know how, I don't have monies now, but I want to give back to the community that I have taken from and love. So, you wouldn't even be able to download your own items if you wanted to (except for the free sub day)?
Right! I wasn't. I really lulz! EDIT: Found what to do. I looked right over it. duh
