2356  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / On a slightly more positive note on: 2007 May 28, 20:55:38
I signed and said thank you. I've been going there to get stuff for ages and it has by far the largest folder in my collection. I burn off all of my downloads in case I have a systems crash and lose the lot! But yeah, Parsimonious has a DVD all it's own.... Love their stuff! But I do miss Happy Moon Belly... Wonder what happened to him/her....
2357  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / If Pescado ever actually procreated... on: 2007 May 28, 20:36:09
Thanks for scaring the shit out of me with that thought... And I didn't kill and eat my exes, I just made it so they can't have sex without great pain. Sledge hammers are a wonderful accessory for a woman to keep. Love is a mental condition caused by eating too many dill pickles and jalepeno peppers on a bed of cream cheese and wasabi paste spread upon dark rye bread with Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum as a beverage. That can also cause the disturbing condition which counts as sleep in some people's lexicon. Sleep is that horrid lapse which the body can sometimes experience when not enough stimulant is applied to it. Things such as coffee, tea and Mt. Dew tend to keep us from inspecting the insides of our eyelids but there does come a time when the body just can't take the abuse and has to rest for a few hours at least. But, if Pescado is the creature of the night that it's been suggested that he is, he doesn't sleep. He goes into torpor, which is a bit different. Ask any Malkavian, they may explain it, if you can get past the madness to get an answer to your question....
2358  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / What would you do if EA oficially supports paysites? on: 2007 May 28, 20:05:15
I'd download via warez sites or torrents, cause those bastards wouldn't get another penny of my money. I gots a hungry child, so screw them! I use the money that could go to buy the expansion packs to feed my son, so I think I've got my priorities straight. Too bad the paysite owners can't figure it out... Oh, you say they have? Where do they get the money to feed their hungry chilluns? Our pockets? Waitaminnit! Can't they work a real job instead of charging us for the results of their hobbies, which in most cases is shit... I've got an idea! Why doesn't EA hire them and then they can pay taxes and stuff on the garbage they're putting on the net and keeping every dime, sixpence, euro or whatever??? If EA supports the shit spawned by their game, when they say in their own legal stuff that it's not on to profit from THEIR game, then they have cranial/rectal syndrome worse than I ever thought...
2359  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Uh.... WTF?! on: 2007 May 28, 19:50:44
Why don't they just do something funny and use Sims 2 in a Rocky Horror Picture Show remake? I saw a video on YouTube that has them doing the Time Warp. God, that film has myriad memories for me dating back to my long ago teens...
2360  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Halp! Avast! on: 2007 May 17, 19:05:47
I do all the work on my computer, not the hubby. He borked the laptop that shortly died a horrid death. I download the programs, I install them, I debug the fraggin things. I'm not an expert, but I am a bit more careful than he is. If I don't trust it, I won't use it. The only one I trust to work on my computer is my sister's husband. He's a Linux man but if I can't figure out how it got messed up, he can. I designed the computer I have now and it's working just fine... Now if only I could find an FLV to AVI converter that doesn't leave a frickin water mark on my video, I will be a totally happy camper! Robert Palmer videos don't need those things on them...... *whine, grumble*
2361  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / we are now advertised on the insim page, lol on: 2007 May 17, 18:52:07
I found this site some months back through a link on InSim that was posted by the user CobainFan. Since that happened, many of us have checked it out and some have become forum members here. That thread is not locked and you can post in it today, but I just wish I could remember the name of it. As for bbb, he is a conflicted individual but on a personal level, he's been a total sweetie to me and helped me through some shit. Kathy is one of the coolest peoples there and she will tell you to check this place for something that you'd otherwise have to pay to get. She's a riot! This place is rather an open secret and covert advertising pays! Yay, booty!
2362  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Why does fun things have to turn nasty? on: 2007 May 12, 22:39:51
*rubs head and glares*
I never ever said that I was reasonable... and trolls are assholes.... and flaming them can be fun, specially when they burn with such pretty, pretty flames.... little fuckers are annoying, but they turn to cinders so prettily before they make an ash of themselves....
2363  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Why does fun things have to turn nasty? on: 2007 May 11, 13:27:47
Aye, an it seems to me that we may have found us a wee little girlfriend for our other pet troll, otherwise known to us as Rat... Maybe we can lock them up under a custom content bridge and breed them, then sic them onto other sites who will then try to copyright them and say that we can't have them... Ya don't make shit for a game like Sims 2 and expect to get paid when you are ripping off the original makers... Oh, and I paid dearly for my copy of Windows (XP Media Edition if that means a damn) and all of the parts that went into making my computer when I had it custom built. I also bought each Sim expansion pack that I wanted. Too bad most of yer shit seems to be on the same level as the game stuff.... See, thing is, the game stuff sucks donkey balls and we like to have stuff that is decent, hence the custom content. Asking for donations to cover bandwidth is fine... But when you attatch a nice little carrot to bribe people to give you money, then it becomes a business concern and you aren't allowed to do that. Makes me kinda wish that Maxis/EA could come to your house and repossess your games and shit cause you are abusing the ability to make shit. Gah, would someone please put the troll out for some air, she's getting a wee bit wiffy!

P.S.
My lawyer can beat up your lawyer in the law library, cause he is about my age, or at least in his late thirties... I'm in my mid 40's, so.... I'm not the kid you obviously are. See, I had my lawyer look this Sims shit over, and it's the paysite owners who are fucking wrong, not us...

P.P.S.
I forgot to ask one question of you, Samantha... who died and left YOU God?
2364  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / New Paysite Alert on: 2007 May 05, 23:23:02
At least you have names that are not so damn old-fashioned that they belong in the fucking Smithsonian! Try having a name like mine, Eva, which some assholes mispronounce because they are just, well, assholes... It's all Pescado's fault, that is. They will use the Spanish pronunciation, the Netherland pronunciation, or whatever pops into their pointed little heads... Or, they give you a nickname like Evil and get pissed off when you live up to it... Fuck 'em, feed 'em beans. It is Eva, like even but without the "n". I've told people at the DOT to get it right, for God's sake! And when I still used my maiden name, I was always telling them how to spell that, too! I hate my name....
2365  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / WTF H&M? What kinda sellout-ripoff is this? on: 2007 May 04, 22:16:24
My favourite Brit show was Blakes 7. To save what little sanity I had years ago, I had to adopt alot of the attitudes from one of the rebels. Sanity is never more scarce than when you are looking for the shit.... Also, I like Monty Python, Doctor Who, and Red Dwarf, among a host of others.... American t v sucks wind most of the time, so now you know why I don't have cable or even an antenna on the roof.... Wonder if that damn fiddler is still up there?? Told him to get down last week and didn't hear anything except an odd wailing and then a heavy bump near the back entrance to the house. Wish that funny smell would go away, too....
2366  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Another new paysite...simphany.com on: 2007 May 04, 21:50:01
She can stick it where not even a proctologist wants to go in and get it out for her. As for the Tarot reading, I can do those quite well for myself, thank you very much. I've always done my own readings and so far things have gone well for me. Now if only the damn Ouija board would quit telling me that it's going to kill me before my 42nd birthday, I would be very happy....
2367  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / TSR IS A SUCK-ASS SUCKY WEBSITE on: 2007 May 04, 21:00:02
That my dear, is a classic example of fucking ugly, or fugly as it's more commonly known! If my teen ever wore something like that, I think I would home school her ass and never let her out until she had grey hair...
2368  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / WTF H&M? What kinda sellout-ripoff is this? on: 2007 May 01, 13:08:27
