Does anyone know what happened to the new temporary board Ferris had up?

Don't worry about it Ferris, this is starting to get silly Roll Eyes

Nouk, I totally understand what you're saying and happen to agree with what your saying.  My replies are to those who think that we only go there for the filesharing, and who also think that those of us that call SFV our "home" could fit in here.  There may be a reason why SIH hasn't come here to ask for help, we know there are money issues and who knows, it could possibly mean that she no longer has access to the internet.

I don't know, maybe we can all get together and come up with a solution to this - with the way money is going at the moment, for a lot of people, I don't see the point in paying for hosting if we can get it for free.

I thought rds already stated what the issue was - it's money.  Two people looking after two children nowadays is getting hard enough let alone doing the whole thing on your own - running a forum would be the last thing on your mind.  But I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree with what someone else is said, that if running the forum is becoming too much of a strain, it might be time to hand in the towel or pull it down, at least we'll know where it stands.  I know it will suck because I'm a regular member there also, but it kinda gets frustrating when you get comfortable with things, and then it goes down without warning *shrugs*

Well, it doesn't really need filehosting since most of the files are hosted by mediafire, divshare etc  And also, I hope I don't offend, I find it a lot easier to talk over at SFV than here - I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way.  It's not really about the filesharing, most of us are missing the actual community.  I'd like to help out rds, but things are tight with unexpected costs coming up, I won't be able to donate anything until next month Smiley

I think I remember you - are you wes_h's partner?
I would never have thought you were behind a "tomato" name Grin
You make some great stuff - that's why they canned you, you weren't cranking out enough crap hee hee

That site is a nightmare to navigate.  You can't even look for something specific because a few weeks ago (or months, can't remember) I was looking for maxi's recolors but couldn't get the search engine to filter that stuff.  And slow!!  I'm on broadband and have to wait ages for the pages to load.  I haven't been there to download anything, including to see if there is pay stuff I would like, in ages - I prefer MTS2.

Thanks rds for informing us.  With no SFV and a borked gaming pc, the house hasn't looked tidier Grin

Well not really, wouldn't it be the same amount of time no matter where you live?  That message was up at 2.30pm yesterday ( Thursday the 10th of January), and that message is still up at 2.30pm today (Friday the 11th of January.)

However, those people in that time zone have to eat, sleep, go to school or work (8 hours for sleeping, and 8 hours for work leaves only 8 hours for catering to the needs of SFV visitors.) so give them a break, why doncha?

I know I was the one that got quoted, so I hope you're not accusing me of becoming impatient with SFV (since that is by far not the case, I totally understand that SIH has her family as well as a full-time to take care off) - I was only pointing out that the amount of time SFV has been down doesn't differ to what country you're in.

I don't mean to sound mean but jeez, be patient.  If someone on here knew when SFV was going to be up and running they would've said so by now
