Why can't you just admit for once that you made a stupid mistake and appologize like normal people, instead of trying to give everyone some lame excuse as to how a solid color magically appeared in the pay section. We all know that you are both greedy bastards and thought you'd get paid for doing absolutely nothing, but if you had owned up to it, then people might have given you a little more slack.

Check to see if there are any document imaging places near you. I worked at a place that did microfilm, microfische and digital scanning of all kinds of documents. It's a sit-down job, so it's not hard on the legs. It's a simple enough job that almost anyone can do, but still interesting enough to keep you awake. They'll usually hire anyone 16 and over.

The place I worked for had me filming realistate, medical, and financial documents. Plus other various smaller accounts like Coca-Cola. Sometimes a special account would come in and you'd have to sign a secrecy waiver, saying that you won't discuss details of what you're filming/scanning. I always felt a little bit like a spy doing those jobs. I can tell you that I filmed the official architect's version of the blueprints for Bill Gates' house, but I can't tell you what I saw in them because I signed a waiver. I wouldn't want to make Mr.Gates angry.

Also, I'm a night person and they had a night shift with only about 6 of us working there. So we had a pretty tight night crew. It was actually fun.

Anyway, just a thought. I've had many many jobs, but none worked out as well for me as that one.

*sits down and begins arduous 12 step program*

My subfolders only go 3 deep at the most. I pretty much did everything you suggested already. I got rid of all make-up except Bruno and Halaene. Got rid of all clothing except Adele, Bruno, and All About Style. Got rid of all hairs except Nouk, Agustin, and some of Rissa's recolors. Wiped out all neighborhoods, and I had no downloaded lots to begin with. As far as objects, I basically had to choose my top 10 favorite creators and only use them. I have a folder just for global mods, which I went through with a fine-toothed comb. I got rid of a few things there too.

I also disconnect from the internet and turn off all background apps before I start my game. It still takes about an hour to load, but I manage to fill that time pretty easily with tons of housework and taking care of child and animals.

The game is running smoothly now, but I still find myself missing certain things that I had to take out. *sigh*

I was able to reduce the folder to 6 gigs, but it still takes forever to load the game.
I have everything meticulously organized in sub-folders, and now I think I need to put Snarky's folder back in. I really love his beds.

Having OCD helps when it comes to having the patience to navigate through all of it.

Snarky, I simply love all the stuff you make, but sadly my downloads folder is stuffed to capacity.
Literally, it's too full. My game refuses to load and it gets stuck or times out or something. It just refuses to deal with it. So I had to take a whole bunch of stuff out to get my game to load, and it still took forever.

I'm such a download whore, my computer hates me. I think I may have a serious problem. Is 12.5 GB's of custom content too much?
