@Blue: I don't think every single visitor of my site is an "oh, it's free, lets grab it" type, but if you look at the traffic caused by our visitors, most seem to even download the background picture of the website Wink

You should be happy they like your work so mush. And yeah, your site does ask for cookies. Smiley

Do you take requests?

I press the download button sit back in my comfy armchair and just wait...wait...wait...until I almost fall asleep.
I guess that's the time when the other side of the globe gets up and jumps MTS2.

Now I feel worse. I'm sorry I never pressed that button or wrote a 'thank you'. I have all your CC and they are really one of my favorites. Cant you tell from the number of the downloads that people like your work?

That's the only thing I blame lots of users for. It's so easy to browse a site, download everything you like and leave. If the content was created bit by bit with lots of accuracy and a love of details isn't rewarded.

And the hard facts like traffic etc. don't say anything. If you look at people around you in real life, they do tend to grab anything, if it is promoted and free. Place some real crap on a table, scream "free" and you will be left with nothing 5 minutes later.

Well, I wasn't always so insensitive. For example:  I went to your site today to say thank you and I've spent about 20 minutes there trying to post. I couldn't figure out what the hell was the matter it just kept coming back with 'fill out all fields'. Then I turned off my cookie blocker and it went through.
I don't like cookies and I don't understand why some sites want gift me with one. Of course if its essential (passwords etc) I allow it but the majority of the sites want to place not one but three or four on my computer. No thanks.
The other problem is that MTS2 gets pretty crowded by the time I get there and I'm happy if I get the download to work before I fall of the chair.

And I have to disagree with "Place some real crap on a table, scream "free" and you will be left with nothing 5 minutes later" I play with Sims2 for about 2 years now and I only have less than 2 megabytes in my download folder. I'm very picky what I download and I - just like the majority- don't like crap. Not everybody is a ..um... dowloadholic(sp?) Is there such a word?

"But if you start a huge party which is know for its fun factor, offer free beer as much as everyone likes and if you then don't charge anything, a little "hey, cool, thanks you did this" by at least some of the guests would be nice, hm? But with the feedback ratio at our site, you had to start a party for 2,500 people to have at least 1 person say thank you.

Ok, maybe that comparison is not that perfect, as you get feedback watching people have fun. But i don't. I never see people enjoy my creations or the ones of my co-workers. I mostly (95%) get support mails of people asking for meshes, general "can you repair my pc and wash my car" mails and those flame mails, i talked about before.'

Now I feel worse. I'm sorry I never pressed that button or wrote a 'thank you'. I have all your CC and they are really one of my favorites. Cant you tell from the number of the downloads that people like your work?
