This point has been talked about and talked about and talked about to death. It doesn't need repeating yet AGAIN. You go poking in a few old threads and you can read all about it!
Just b/c poor old you hasn't iterated this exact point in the same old tired way doesn't mean the rest of us have to put up w/ yet another broken-record discussion. I wasn't really trying to start a discussion. I was just asking why creators seem to make a more feminime(SP?) lookin sim male. I had read stuff earlier in this EXACT thread about that. So I was replying. Also I was stating my opinion bout the girly men. Soooooooooooo again WHAT'S the BIG DEAL??? Did you autmatically say anything to anyone else in this thread that the girl man subject is tired? No. So why start now? Just keep it movin. If what I post isn't up to par to your standards guess what? You don't have to read and/or reply to me!! That's the wonderful thing bout a forum!! When you see my username, you don't have to read or respond to ANYTHING I say!! Look I don't have a problem with you or anyone else in here. But I'm not gonna sit here and let people be rude to me for no reason. I tried the friendly approach, it didn't work. So now I'm just gonna keep it real. I can be cool as hell but I can also be a bitch from hell. I'm not trying to offend anyone. And if I have I'm sorry. I'm just SICK of the rudeness for no reason. I can understand if I was being a troll, and maybe some of my posts have been misconstrued that way. But I'm not tryin to be that. I'm not here to see how many buttons I can I can push. IMO, I like a thread to stay on topic especailly when it is about a sim problem. (I admit I'm just as guilty as anyone else of dragging one off topic....) Some of the threads here, for instance, drive me a bit batty because they often melt into a moronic banter between several of the 'regulars' (forum flys? lol I'm one!) but gotta take the good with the bad and this site is very good about not censoring or cattering to the G-rated population. JM is steady and mature and funny. None better to run a site. Ditto for Bluesoup. I agree with you. I like the fact that we can pretty much say anything we want and state our opinions like ADULTS (most of the time anyway). Pescado can be obnoxious as hell but that's what I like bout his online personality. BlueSoup is cool as hell from what I've seen. I'm glad they made this forum and site. There is SOME stuff I could do without, but like you said take the good with the bad!! |

Haven't we had this whole girly man discussion many, many times before? Ad nauseum. It is for some reason very very important that these people let us all know that they like REAL men. Um, okay folks... Well if you have, I've missed it. What's the big deal?? Can we state our opinions without being criticized? And *I'M* just stating that I like my SIM men to look like men. I don't feel the NEED to let y'all know. I'm just stating my opinion. How bout ADDING to the conversation instead of being childish and saying criticizing things? Frankly I'm SICK of shit like this. Y'all will be so quick to yell out "12ness" but WTF is this? Oh, THESE examples RIGHT here quoted are WAY more mature conversation!! *For those of you who don't know THAT was sarcasm.* |

I have a q? kinda on this topic of male sims lookin girly..... That's just about ALL I seem to find!! I HATE that shit!! I'm used to men lookin like MEN!! I mean don't get me wrong there are a few girly men out there, but the damn Sims Community acts like that's the ONLY kind of man that's out there. And the tight clothes.......... UGH!! I have found maybe 3-5 sites that have decent male content......... I don't mind a few like that I just wouldn't d/l em. But 98% of the male sims look like this!! So the question is: Why in the fuck do creators do this? Why do we need male sims with long flowing locks of curls?? To *ME* it looks fucking ridiculous. Sorry if I ranted too much or didn't make much sense (or if you are one of the type of people who like girly men). I'm tired, upset, and have had a REAL long day!!

Actually, the first site to go pay was Mall of the Sims, ironically, as far as I remember, although it's still actually there, it became very frowned-upon as not really worth it, after it went pay, and faded into obscurity. It was also the very first custom content sims site I ever ever found. When it was free.
And back in those days, bandwidth genuinely was an issue...it just SO isn't any more... :?
Oh. I remember Mall of Sims!! I had forgotten bout it! They USED to be pretty damn cool..... The first Sims site I ever found was Evil Sims or something along that nature. They had been banned by maxis or something..... Anyone remember that site?? |

You guys have not even heard the worst thing about Carla Niven yet. I know something far worse than everything that has been posted (but I can't share it yet). Have you seen the AWESOME walls I make using MS Paint? I can make some custom ones for you to sell if you tell me the secret!! You could use the proceeds to pay for "bandwidth" here!! :p |

I just saw this.......... Isn't this an Atlua (or w/e) mesh?? And they are charging for it? Isn't this, stealing?  U know what's sad though....... It's so horribly done that I don't know if the original creator of the mesh should be mad about that or about them charging for this..... If it was me I'd be like *damn, if you gonna recolor my work and charge for it can you at LEAST make it look DECENT?  ?* |
