The point in making these being what exactly? Evi's from Greece. We do not have a baseball culture, and most Greeks had they been hit in the groin with a baseball wouldn't actually recognize what sport it belongs in. Meh! If you have absolutely no idea about a sport or any other subject, why try to simify it? And badly at that! (To form our own Olympic baseball team in the 2004 Athens Olympics, we had to "import" 4th generation American-Greeks. Needless to say the Olympic team couldn't even speak Greek anymore . If you can breed them, steal 'em!)

I don't even know what you get if you download this because all you get is a preview picture, but every part of that set is DO NOT WANT!!1einzeleventy!!1 I really despise 8DS, their convoluted reasons for beng a paysite are an affront to the free community and their FAQ is so smartass-y it makes me want to hurl.

Oh that's just hideous! Do they know that not every redneck is inbred, or did they just watch 'The Hills Have Eyes' too many times? I can't believe anyone would actually PAY for that.

IIRC 8DS was started--at so we were told--to keep 7DS going because it was using up too much bandwidth. I think it was the first Sims site to go pay. Has 7DS ever done Sims 2 stuff? Has 7DS had an update in the past 4 years? And is 8DS still updating or just making it's money on the occasional newbie who has never fallen into its morass before downloads everyting and then forgets to stop renewing?

WTF is that? I know a lot of that stuff is old, but why would someone pay for uglified Maxis sims, even when the game first came out and most CC was bad? It's not exactly hard to do that yourself. I'd never seen that site before, and I was probably better off not seeing it. It's a goldmine of fug.

Actually I don't think it was the first to go pay. I remember TSR having special perks if you donate to them, and having tiny mini based subs way before 8DS. I thought 8DS came out when The Sims 2 came out. 7DS I believe is the Sims 1 version of 8DS. Neither of them have updated since 2006 that I can see.

Missbonbon, 8DS was around during Sims 1. My older sister was OBSESSED with them mainly because of all the kinky, weird stuff they had. Yeah, I know. My family is full of freaks.

Yeah, I had their Sims 1 porno stuff. As a matter of fact a lot of their Sims 2 content is recycled Sims 1 stuff.
I honestly don't remember when TSR started asking for donations, though it had to be after the Mgon period, as I was kindly booted out of there at some point for making the Goth's use bad words on the board.

IIRC, once TSR split from MGON, they started asking for donations and in return you got ad-free surfing. Then they began paying a very few artists (I think STP_Carly and Fairywitch were the first two), but cycled downloads every three days or so, so that even the pay stuff was put on free rotation. Then it was every week, and then it went downhill from there. 7DS was terrific, way back in the day. And there were a few other great sites like that as well. Does anyone remember Sims on a Stick?
