Poly decimator? What does it do, randomly remove 10% of the polygons and fuse the rest over them?

Puts faces together reducing the polys.  I think it works on reducing the vertices - making 2 in close proximity 1.  It's just fine to use a little bit, but it can go too far and fuck a complex shape.

*Damn CatofWar ninja'd me.

I really didn't think Coconut could do much with them.  But, it was suggested, so I did.  Alone you're right, they aren't much.  Now that the mesh is gone, they're worth even less.  However, if lots of people had complained, been rejected, then TSR ignored them, it might have been important to show that complaints were made and erased (Look! You can put stolen meshes up at TSR and no matter what, they won't remove them!")

Oh I have no problem with people submitting things, but this isn't the first time that someone wants coconut's help, but then wants coconut to do quite a bit of legwork getting into it halfway through.  That's just not possible.  I wanted to let you guys know that you shouldn't go out of your way to submit stuff and do things, if the original complainant wasn't going to do anything to set the story up, so to speak.

Ya'll owe me 15 mins of my life I'll never get back.

You win one internets. I love the section: "Blue? Not really"  Cheesy

Guys, coconut isn't going to be able do much with screenshots of deleted comments - there's not much they can do without concrete proof of actual theft - which needs to come from the person who made the mesh and alleges the theft.  Don't be too surprised if there's no article on this - not much can be done with actual submission. It's kind of like clueing them into a drama that's half way through.

Grrr, this isn't GOS. Here pay = suck

Stop the gushing, we don't give them free press.

I've stopped bothering telling people - they're thick as bricks. Apparently they think it's great to advertise paysites here.

It would be cool if someone let Calalily or Coconut know too. Smiley

There's the submit and expose page - coconut doesn't go round collecting information all over the web (due to the time required for that) so they only deal with things submitted.

Parents should be pissed - that private info thrown around in the those screenshot threads, declared genuine in TSR's myth-anthropic tirade, could belong to kids - it's not like anyone tried to find out, they were just giddy to target potential 'pirates'.  Why are they collecting such in the first place?  Why are there age and location listings in member profiles?  TSR puts out that they're family friendly and play up a relationship with EA, kids and parents might feel such info is safe when it is certainly not.

I agree - how would their family friendly bullshit go over if it was known that anyone can stroll through the unencrypted database, and share their information for shits and giggles?

Colour me confused. I can't find the post you guys are talking about. Did Austere delete it?

Most likely a mod or Austere deleted the post.

Definitely Austere - would Pescado delete stupidity? I think not. Cheesy

Aieee! I love it! Bumblebee rules! Thank you so much. Also, I can't find a place to squee at you on your site.  Cheesy

You could always just use the IE Plugin for Firefox, to help with those withdrawal pains while transitioning.

That would require change - I still have (shame) IE6.  Cheesy I was very perturbed recently when the google toolbar changed the way the find function works in IE.  Embarrassed I still wish for FF2 - I had to upgrade for my FTP to update.

Oh palese! A year and a half? I know trannies that have transitioned faster than that.

Tell me about it. Cheesy I don't know why I'm so resistant. I just like same.

Calalily, I can't believe you're having that much trouble.  It took me months to get used to IE from Netscape, yet the transition from IE to Firefox was really easy for me.  And I'm usually the type that clings stubbornly to something as if it's a life preserver on the Titanic.  I'm still using PSP 7.0, because any other version just confuses me.

Adblock and no script makes Firefox well worth it.   That and tabbed browsing.  I love tabbed browsing.  I used to have all these browsers open on my desktop, now it's just one, with bunches of tabs.

Me either - I'm an absolute freak though.  I have all the addons with FF too - Adblock, Fireshot, a couple of custom skins, FireFTP, FoxLingo, Ref Control, Reload Every and the Australian Dictionary. I like it a lot, but I despise the change, so I have both browsers open at the same time, and visit some sites with FF, and some with IE.  In all fairness though, I don't see ads fullstop - I have a modified hosts file.  So no matter what, no ads - that's a recent change though - couple of months or so.

Well then you suck until further notice.

Dude - there's a DEATH TO CALALILY up there for a reason.  Cheesy I've been transitioning for at least a year and a half.  Pity Stupid Calalily and don't have flashy things.
74  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: More Smutty Than You: TSR's Hall of Shame on: 2009 April 13, 07:17:00
I don't browse this forum in Firefox - I use IE.  So when it flashes at me, I can't do anything other than wish death on people. I'm still trying to transition to Firefox, but I like my ruts, and I can't get myself out of the rut of using IE for this forum.

Haha, thanks for accepting my apology. :] I'm glad you guys actually pointed it out to me in a nice way, without bashing me about it.

I don't see there's much need for apology - you liked it, and so you chose it - you didn't actually intend to annoy anyone. I just want to read the posts, and I presume that you want other people to read them too - and flashy things make people not read.

I think your sig is the cleverest I've seen in a long time, haha....

While your flashing sig makes me want to kill you.
