Yeah, I noticed that when I was being a pedantic fucker and going through the files, after someone defended him on S2C with the bullshit line that "exnem gives sooo much back".

What a dipshit - charging for recolours - while his own meshes are free. They would want to be fucking gold plated at the prices he charges.

SimFreaks has been doing that from the start and charging a hell of a lot more for it, too. There's a site that is living off its TS glory days and like all old diva's really needs to understand that there comes a point when retiring from the public is best for all parties involved.

Charging for maxis recolors has always  bothered me, and the people who pay for it must be utter morons. The other thing that irritates me is when I see free content recolored and put  on a pay site *coughTSRcough* to me that's just low and dirty.

It's not like Lyric is capable of making a new mesh.

Yes, well that $25 for Milkshape would be better spent on feeding her chilluns.  :lol: No need to give customers value for money when there's chilluns starvin', homeless and without discernable footwear.

Old news. Lots of sites do this. It annoys me, but is almost as bad as whoever that is on TSR that charges for recolors of xmsims sunglasses. Charging. For recolors. Of custom objects. That AREN'T YOURS.

Ugh, it seems beyond pointless to pay for that stuff. Paintings and beds and recolored Maxis sofas are easy. It takes all of 5 minutes.

I love how she's also copied a house that another MTS2 moderator has built in the past.

For the love of God who the hell would pay for a freaking Maxis mesh?  Someone has lost their touch with reality.  She's sunk to a new low and the more I find out about her the more I despise her very existence.

Is it just me or does the texture on the pants look similar to one of the textures aikea_guinea used on her "Fitted Boot-Cut Jeans"?  :?

I guess I'll be the first to mention that those eyeshadows look a little like the makeup you would find on a drunken drag queen :( The texture is aweful (>.o)

So they are actually the same house.

They are based on a real floorplan, but anyway it's not fair to reproduce someone else's work without crediting for original "idea".

Uh. I just downloaded a zip containing some or all of Carla Niven's stuff. I got it from a friend - she didn't pay for that stuff of course, she got it elsewhere, from SFV I suppose. Btw, this means that there's someone out there who actually paid to get Carla Niven's stuff.
And if someone is willing to pay for those things.. well, everything is possible.

Well I would like to see it in the booty, then we can individually see if we want to have it in game or not, it's all about choices isn't it? Some stuff looks like shit on a web page but in game it's OK, and of course the same applies in reverse. 8)

The person who donated for Carla Niven is not an idiot. I suspect they merely wanted to see the files in action to judge for themselves. What they want to do with their money is their own business, and if they want to use it on a crap paysite out of curiosity, it doesn't make them an idiot.

I can never understan why people would pay for shitty stuff made w/ the same content they got in the game, and could make quickly and for only the money it took them to buy the game.

I know I'll probably get smashed for this but, CN actually had about 2 recolors I liked.  ROFL  Of course, most of the stuff was poor quality for being pay.  I really appreciate whomever pays (donates) to get the stuff for the booty.
