Just stay off from any Sony gadgets for the mo. Even their digicams were recalled because of reported glitches. I read somewhere their laptops are lousy too with the duration factor. PS3s have a tendency to overheat too.
I'll be sticking with my PS2 for a couple more years. I hope they find a way around the issue of PS3, seriously 3 hours of playing time before it overheats? And I saved up for nothing? What? PS3 isn't hardcore-gaming compatible? D: $600 for that? That's just pure, unadulterated crazy. |

The PS3 does not work. Don't get it. It's perpetually frozen in our store, and one of them caught fire in another store (not BFBVFS, but sparks and a little flame), AND we got an e-mail from corporate instructing us on how to deal with the many returns we expect. It's worse than the first run of 360s.
Sony had to recall laptops because some battery they made exploded, too.

Yeah they're awful - they tend to run really hot on one side. we only got 3 of them in I think, but from everyone that's coming in with one they all complain about the heat issue.
not something you'd want to tuck inside an entertainment unit

I wasn't planning on getting one until the price dropped anyway, but thanks for the heads-up.
Maybe in 3 years or so they'll have fixed it.... but knowing Sony, they won't.

Same reason why anyone else would take down their stuff/hold it hostage--so people will beg and whine for it back, so they can feel special and wanted. not necessarily i took down my stuff from there about 18 months ago because the lady (?) in question replied very rudely to a polite post i made concerning uploads of lots. it wasn't the first time she had pissed me off but it was a straw ...camels etc etc she followed this up with an arselicking PM...:roll: recently i started uploading again but she has become a thorn in my side once more....at least i think its her, i have no proof.... and i guess i will take it all off and leave quietly. sometimes enough is just enough |

can't be her... shes not a mod there anymore. what is it that you are uploading? i might be able to tell you who is in charge of that area.... if its houses i know its nengi65. it's nengi and some others....can't be bothered to look right now but the last one i uploaded was a few weeks ago and i'm not sure when LL stopped being a mod and as for sony i have got one of their monitors.....don't fancy that sploding in my face :cry: it misbehaves but to be fair its probably the graphics card at fault |

well someone was giving me grief about a certain item of custom content i used
as it turned out i "won" the day but i really can't be arsed to upload any more houses. it's not like i am a mega architect anyway. i just enjoy sharing the houses i enjoy playing myself and uploaded there because it's free to do so and free for others to download
