736  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Would this be allowed??--Been named, now need URL name... on: 2007 January 13, 22:44:23
Llan? Um, I'll take a stab at it and say something like "lyan" or "yan"...otherwise I've not a clue.
What's Morgendorfen, Grania?

Methinks I'm going to name it Le Caer de la Fée Fatale. ^^^

Now, I need a way of putting that in an url. That's not going to fit! "Fatale Caer"? FataleCaer.moonfruit.com?

The only problem with that, is a lot of people don't have torrent clients, or have chosen not to have a torrent client. Myself included.
Well, the latest version of Opera browser includes some kind of built-in torrent client and there must be an extension for Firefox too.  Smiley

Not everybody uses Firefox either

I use IE. I can't get FF to WORK on my PC. Besides, I find it incredibly ugly.

Hey, no worries! The game always needs more. That's what makes it a party.

I loved your long Welsh place. ^^ I had fun trying to pronounce it. It didn't work.

Quote
Le Caer de la Fée Fatale
(The Castle of the Fatal Fairy)

I LOVE THAT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's nothing else I can say. I LOVE it.

Quote
Le Caer de Llyr
(Castle of the sea god)

Sounds lovely. ^^

Quote
Pour la Mela Saphir
(For the love of sapphires)

That one's nice. ^^ How about l'Amour de Saphir? If we're following on from the loving sapphires theme.

Quote
Les Papillons Saphirs
(The Sapphire Butterflies)

I like that one, too.

If I'm to be truly honest, at the moment my favourites (out of the ones I've been given) are Le Caer de la Fée Fatale and The Velvet Aster.

Any way of combining the two?? ^^^^^

Or maybe I can name my site one and the forum the other...Huh

20% for the $2100 needed for a dedicated server.  Aka $400.

Wow! That's brilliant! So fast, too!

Mummy made lunch? lol, love it!

But...we don't WANT Carla Niven's shitty stuff! That's what we said in the Carla thread. Nobody in their right mind would download (read: "donate for") that crap!

But the exchange deserves it. Methinks.

And who in their right mind would claim it as theirs???

That second dress--the black-sleeved one. Is anyone else wondering why the sleeve is on a different arm when you look from the back??? That's photo manipulation--reversing the image, right???

Only in the technical sense. It wasn't intended to deceive, because that texture really is on the model and it's not hiding any flaws.
It was just flipped it for...who knows what reason. Probably s/h/it thought it looked nicer in the preview that way.

But it adds nothing except insanity. It confuses me why people randomly flip images--I think Seomi does it with her hair, and it always makes me go, "which side is it on??" I don't deal well with confusion--just tell me straight, dammit! ^^

It's not really a skirt it's a wrap thing with tassles.

  Really?

Is that fashionable?Huh??

It looks like a series of dots and lines to me...

Thanks though!

Feather: Jersey Princess as a title: I don't want to because I use that for everything and it's too identifiable. I know people IRL who wouldn't hesitate to fuck any site up with any reference to that U/N.
lol I'm not properly Jersey. I don't think I'm descenced from fairies, nor do any people I know. ^^
La Hougue Bie IS magnificent. We're going down for the summer solstice this year. ^^ I like it there. Solstices. Love.

Dour: Oooh. Morrowind. Nice. ^^^
lol! Italian? Naw, my parents were Scottish. ^^ I'd love to go to Italy...
I love "Fatal Fairy" ("Fata Fatale" sounds a bit...repetitive, but "Fée Fatale", the French, is lovely). "Fairies in the Aster" is sooo pretty, too. If I were to do something like "Saphir Sept" ("Seven Sapphires" sounds sooo nice though, it just runs off your tongue...) I'd do "Saphir Treize". ^^^ Or "Treize Saphirs"--13 Sapphires. ^^ The final one, "The Velvet Aster"...that's just beautiful. I love it. But it doesn't look right in Spanish. However, I like: "Fløyelen Aster" (Norwegian, but it doesn't really have any relation to me). The French is alright but I'm not too keen on it.
I'm a bit hesitant to go for anything with "Virgo" in it, for the direct meaning of "Virgin"...it can either be seen as religious or, well, other ways. ^^^

lol! I had fun reading the ABBR-whatever-they're-called tags on the main page. What's the site about? That bit, I mean.
No problem! It's alright though. Maybe if the site dies. ^^ It'll have to be formed first, though. ^^^^  Cool
745  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Carla Niven vs. Rat Productions on: 2007 January 13, 14:40:09
Well, we've already established that Carla Niven is an insane, art-shy, manipulative whore. At least s/h/it has learnt to lower prices. But even that blinking text is ICK! (and I like slow, non-headache-ensuing blinking. So yeah.)

That second dress--the black-sleeved one. Is anyone else wondering why the sleeve is on a different arm when you look from the back??? That's photo manipulation--reversing the image, right???

Nice to see s/h/it has learnt that try, try, try again doesn't work. Their philosophy seems to be try, be bitched at, cheat. Not on. I LOVE Rat Productions.

Where are you getting the whores from? Not our cash, eh?

Surely you didn't miss the rum disclaimer in Pescado's first post in this thread.  If he doesn't raise enough money, the money will go towards rum Tongue

I got the rum reference, yes.
The whores were something else though.
TBTH *wince* it reminded me of that nasty Open House Jack thread...

SP, I didn't understand a word of that...(the first) The second was just funny. ^^ Even the name's stupid.

The phorum hates me. Half the time it won't open or it shuts down when I'm in the middle of a post. If it does I just give up now.

What is that thing hanging between her legs supposed to be?Huh I know it allegedly uses the Chriko mesh, but really, it's not a skirt--she's already wearing one. It's these dotty thingies!!!!

Haha, I'd have never taken you to be a closet Christian.
Me? I'm atheist so it wouldn't work, lol! ^^^^
But making it out to be something it's not, now that I like. I could make a piss-take page or something. ^^^^^^^^^ Cool
