I actually like the darker spiky one. We had a clock like that when I was growing up and I loved that stupid clock. The day it stopped working and couldn't be revived was one of the saddest days of my life.

NL, OFB, Pets, Seasons and AL are the EP's I have. FFS, GL and K&B are the stuff packs I have.

Okies. The cabin lot is done. I'm willing to share it if'n I can figure out how to package it.  It won't be until Sunday or Monday though.

No pics of the "finished product". I already exited the game because I've got to get my have-to-get-up-at-3-in-the-morning butt to bed!

That's a recolor of an outfit that comes with the game?? (I don't make families with kids so I didn't know!) And it's pay?

The only reason I noticed the sucky cut/paste job is that I play around in PhotoShop a lot. (Took me foreverrrr to learn how to do anything in PhotoShop, so my first efforts really sucked.)

For larger rugs, I've taken to playing with the carpet flooring and the ctrl-f keys.  Can get some nice designs or lack there of, and it looks nice with wood flooring.

Watch this space.... Ohhhhhh...that's neat! Why didn't I know you can do that and are there any other nifty little tricks like that?

I say that because I have absolutely no idea what ctrl-f does and am going to go find out!

Now I'm stuck in Illinois and dunno if my speech has changed or not, but man did I get teased by family members last year when they say me for the first time after 20 years. They're mainly from Minnesota, donchaknow, and they say I sound southern. Uh huh, just cause they're up by the border... meh

Yer from Illinois now. You gots an accent. Trust a fellow Illinoisan. I didn't believe it either....until I lived in Kansas for awhile and got made fun of for my accent. (Then I moved back home and got made fun of because I aquired a "twang" whilst in Kansas.)

Italian, Irish and Cherokee from my dad's side- Norwegian and German from my mom's. For some reason, when I get mad I tend to get a bit of an Irish accent going...while my hands are flying around like birds- which is my version of an Italian accent I guess.  Wink

Actually, compared to that last outfit of hers that was posted here, these aren't all that bad- even though the sleeves are so long they cut into the kids' arms. At least it's something a kid would actually wear...if one got rid of that logo/slogan on the shirt.
Her cut/paste/copy skills suck, which is probably why these don't look too bad. The bad parts got cut off.

Fake edit: The kid in the black and red? Is it possible to bend your arm like that in real life? Looks painful to me.

Well, the cabin apartment lot is almost done. Same cabin I've posted before is shown- I changed things yet again! I think I'm happy with the way it is now...if I could just find a 2x2 coffee table. (And I think I might add 2 more chairs, even though these are meant for 1 or 2 sims.) I'm usually not one to match things, but I got to thinking and decided to make each cabin a different color. So, there's blue, green (my favorite so far), pink, yellow, red (not a deep red) and black/white...which I'm most likely changing because it's too modern looking- wanted orange, but my favorite sofa doesn't come in orange. The community area has a pool table, card table, easel and bathrooms so far- computers will be added along with whatever else fits. There's grills and outdoor dining areas. And the pond. I assume it will all work as it should??

Hmm..now that I look at it again, the rugs are getting changed.  Undecided

HugeLunatic- Thankies for the link! I was searching and don't know how I missed those, especially since I have a lot of nengi's other creations already.

SoggyFox? I use those rugs alot...BUT they're a bit too small to use, in my opinion. (I've got a lot of that kind of rug in my real house! I love the way they look.)

BlackDwarf? I had to lol at your statement about the stove. When I redid the inside, I moved the stove to where it is now and didn't even think about the curtain. When I build a house, I do try to watch out for that kind of stuff. (I also forgot to put in a smoke detector!) Soooo...back to the old drawing board I go. One moved stove and some rugs coming up!

Ohhh..Paden? You could have the cabins without AL, couldn't you? With hacks? Isn't there some kind of door hack? (Not trying to be a smart-alek here...I know I've read about one.)

I posted a shot of this cabin in Ask A Pirate 'cuz I had questions. Based on suggestions, I redid it. This is almost done. I'm still looking for the perfect rugs- everything I have looks too modern. Anyone see anything that won't work? I put a family in it just to test it and didn't have any problems- yet.

Sorry to steal your thunder, MrBoddy. To make up for it, I loveeeeee the plants and would snag the windows ina heartbeat!

This was just too purrfect to pass up!

edited cuz i forgot: I didn't make the type cover up the bottom of this because I wanted to see if anyone else noticed the "Personality: open-minded". Um, yeah. Sure. That's why you don't think it's alright to share files, even though the sharer subscribed and paid for them. Because you're so open-minded.

Question? Is the EULA that's included with The Sims 2 and all expansions the same EULA as the Content Manager Tool? I HAVE read them both. The reason for my question is that there are posts from some of the TSRninnies that make a big deal about the EULA. They say that it was changed to remove any reference to "non-commercial" (or was it commercial??).

EA's EULA definitely mentions non-commercial use only. Doesn't that EULA cover ALL of their products? The one the ninnies keep pointing to doesn't mention that at all. Of course, that thread is from last year.

Anyway...evil idea here. Any site that the TSRninnies mention having sent email to about this should be sent a new one (even a year later) pointing out that EA's EULA definintely says non-commercial and that TSR itself is doing something illegal, not us piratesfilesharers.

Hell, I'm mean. I say it needs to be macroed and posted for all to see.

You mean the link right? There ya go.  Grin

Thanks.  Embarrassed Tired pumpkin feels like a tired dumb pumpkin at the moment. (Funny thing is that it was a post here- not this thread- that led me there before and I just couldn't find it again.)
I'll wait 'til Monday to send mine though- I needs to get to bed.
