Courtney, those recolors are wonderful. I'll be picking those up, thankies...

Nouk, I like the idea of keeping the little loose hairs, but making them lighter. I like the little details that make a hairstyle look more realistic, like those, but I just think they are a bit too pronounced.

And Beth, I agree with Cala. Just make it more obviously deliberate and it will be perfect.

I think that's what it must be Calalily, I use that thing from MTS2 (like a noob I forgot the name of it -.-') that makes your bodyshop go lighter.
I havent got a chance right now to go in game and take screenies, but when I do I shall show you. :]

That's what it is then - if you have x2 or whatever the highest strength is - that one washes everything out so I use the next strength down.  Should be right then - otherwise, it's nice.

Thanks for the comments on the hair and the model.  ChemistryCourtney's sim model was also given to the people at sublimesims.net, so sometime in the near future, she'll be up there too.

I love the freckled skins. I need to either locate or create some freckly masks (not looking to expand my geneticized skins, but may break down and do so). My dumb 'hood is growing so much that I'm looking for pretty much anything to differentiate my sims. Even with my 100+ custom hairs, I'm having some issue finding ways to keep everyone unique. I have 32 playables, three invetro, and who the hell knows how many more 4th generation sims to be born. Add in 60 townies/dormies/NPCs for good measure, plus I just had to start the first vacation 'hood...that's probably 4 locals and 10 vacationers to start. 106 sims. Eek!

Zazazu: I spend a lot of time trying to make my sims specials (at least those i care for), here's some tips:
Here's some freckles mask from Rensim, very light ones but very nice: http://rensim.com/details.php?file=36
and there are a lot on MTS2, just put freckles as keyword search.
To make sims specials you can also add them a scar, here's a set of 3 different scars, multi-layerables : http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=226563
You can choose a special make-up for a sim and all his family; or go into accessories in the hair, like a flower or a hairpin. A huge scarf (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=269745) or glasses totally changes a sim.

This is what I just finished. The skirt overall texture is from Sim Tata Young by Maxis. The Maxis one comes with tank top that slightly show the bra.



I have got error 1000 from SecuROM so I sent them e-mail and waiting for their reply and fixed now. I can not open the game so I will ask winner of my model contest to make in-game shots for me.

Updated with the hair, the little strands are gone. They wouldn't show up clearly enough when made thinner... so just got rid of em.
