Uploading them and downloading them won't change anything. The corrupted memories and other bits will all still be there, and it opens up the opportunity for you to bork other people's games if they download your house full of Sims. Installing occupied houses from The Exchange is pretty much a surefire way to destroy your game over time.

Guess I'll just drag my neighborhood folder out, generate the new one and just rebuild the towns one by one and make them chill there...and then I still have to sit and wait for SimPE to update so I can get Bella and Skip back, blah.

p.s. because I can never give up...what if I did all that (the whole removing folder thing) then delete the 'new' goths and brokes and put in the 'old' ones? (the one I have with Bella and Skip) Would that bork my game?

No matter what you do, Sims will have memories attached to them. The only safe way to add them to your new neighborhood is if you clone them with SimPE and then reconstruct their family ties and all that. Since you're waiting on SimPE anyway, why not just continue to build and not worry about the Sims just right now?

Nah, why should we? An issue with your game came up, people told you about it, you asked how to fix it and luckily Blueblood was able to tell you how to avoid borkination. This is PMBD. Going off-topic is the norm here and hence I do not see any need for lolcatting.

Besides, we aren't as cat-happy as you might think, and actually we're much nicer than we get credit for.

I missed >_> My Sims missed custom consoles after Free Time rendered them obsolete. But thanks to Lord Darcy I was able to update the ones I used.
