I'm not sure, but a couple of times, this afternoon, I clicked on PMBD forum link, and it gave me a time out. Then hit refresh and all went ok.

Hmmmm... now that I think about it, it's the same thing sometimes happens anyway in any other day.

Rat, you have to CONNECT to the internets to see the pages.  If you are not connected it won't display anything.  It will look like the site is down.

Yeah, I bet he saw a video on google (GoogleTube? GoggleChannel? WTF?) about DoS, then got distracted by something - maybe a call from Minnie - and directed the attack against his own IP (or against his friend's site). That would explain his joy not seeing the site.

That doesn't make any sense.  Why didn't you just make it longer in the first place so we know you mean businsess?  This site has been down much longer for me when noone was hacking it.

I had wondered about that too.  IP-banning is the best way to go when you really want to get rid of someone.

Unless Pescado's keeping Rat around for the entertainment value.

If he were truly a hackor, I think he could get around the IP bit fairly easily.  According to Pescado, the site being unaccessable for that short bit today had nothing to do with the rodent.

I never thought about Rat possibly being able to get around an I.P-banning, but it would make sense if he's a hacker.

If I can't get at a site within a few seconds, I just go off somewhere else and come back later.  It never occurred to me to think that it was some sort of haxxing.  Poor Rat--he doesn't occupy my thoughts as much as he would like.
