Until recently I had never even heard of this Carla Niven, and I just  watched that fashion show. I kept waiting for one of the skanky models to fall through the black spot on the floor, but alas, no such luck.I'm thinking that the butt check is to make sure they remembered to put the fish in the fridge before they went to work, since that's where they seem to put them when they catch them. I dunno.
I'd go and check her site out, but I'm on medication and can't drink, and unless I could get horribly drunk after exposing my poor peepers, I just don't think it's worth the risk.
I simply cannot believe anyone would put their precious Simmies into such fugly attire. I should think the Simmie would be waving their fist at you whilst in CAS, and making other rude gestures as well.

I've been lurking for quite some time now and this thread convinced me to join. I've never supported paysites, and I can't believe there's people stupid enough to pay for this crap. That said I'm curious to check out the meat slab dress now  |

That fashion walk is the stupidest thing I've ever seen.  I know it's a Maxis issue, not a CN one, but seriously.  That is exactly the walk I do when I've had one too many Caucasians and am wearing shoes that don't fit properly.  Or I'm so drunk I don't feel my feet.  One of the two.
Combine that with CN's laughable meshes and fashions and - wow.  That's a train wreck in slo mo!

I like the idea of a Sims fashion show, just the execution of this is....
Let's just say that I had to restrain myself from gouging out my eyes.  That green catsuit? Oh, god, she should be murdered horribly for that offense.

Yuck. I just saw the meatslab dress in the FAQ. I'm curious to try it out on my white trash Sim, but I don't even think she deserves it. I've decided that Carla Niven is the Sims version of the Shaggs.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Shaggs |

Wow... and to think these are the things that she actually picked for her fashion show. My seven year old walked in while I was watching this, and even she knew how horrible these clothes are. She was even able to see how skinny the and all around fugly the models were. |

Even when I use to support paysites and subscribed to them I would have never wasted my money on that crap.  The way those skirts look from behind is just awful.
I am with you WedgewoodBlue I kept waiting for one of those skanky models to fall through the black spot on the floor also. Would have made it more entertaining.

Help, help, call the medics! What's the number for 911, OMFG, I braved the waters and sailed into Carla's port. Oh woe is me, I shall never be the same again. WTF is that mess? She has actual real life members? Are they allowed out, or are they confined?Holy Mary, Mother of God, that site is a sin!

I once made the mistake of looking at some pics of CN stuff when my cat Suzie was present. This is the face that she made, like the cat here: Then she hopped down and promptly got sick all over my slippers. Oh well, they were due for replacement anyhow... Carla Niven makes kitteh puke! |

You know, I just had a sinister thought. What if EAxis recognized all the "attention" Carla Niven is getting and offered her a job designing the outfits for the Sims 3?Sorry. I couldn't resist.

I think we're safe. EA is pretty accomplished at making their own horrible clothes.  Should they want to capture that "special" Carla Niven "look", all they'd have to do is slide the color saturation bar all the way to the right (of Strom Thurmond). |
