It's a sera full body mesh.  I've used it too.  It looks much more appropriate if you think of the tight part on the bottom as the ribbing of something like a sweater, and the top loosey part as the bulking of the regular knit.

Well it helped that Sera used one as a skin originally, but I recognized it immediately as a top that was at bebe last year - blouson was/is huge, and we had tons of this exact top in different patterns all through the spring and summer.  The bottom part was a ribbed knit, but the loose part on top was an almost tulip-cut silk - very full and light, with just a bit of ribbed knit on top to keep the top up.  I alone sold over a hundred of them, easy.

And while I am an excellent salesperson, there is no power on Earth that could make Carla Niven's version sell.

I think it's my fault that the cranberry monstrosity is in the booty. It was SO bad, I had to spend the $2.50 just to see how it behaved in the game.

And so, I subjected one of my favorite sims, Charlie Nicholson, to this dress.

The first thing I noticed was a less than neat neckline, so I zoomed in:
...which led me to look at the train:


Messy, to be sure.

Then Charlie took a walk around her house.

She first sat to wait for the date who never came (he heard she bought this dress and moved to another neighborhood):



Dejected, she wandered upstairs...


...and into the bathroom. Here's Charlie, flushing the toilet located near the door:


Finally, she had a lie down:


Soon after, she burned the dress, changed the entire house to a nice calm beige, and has been wandering around listlessly, not eating, not doing anything....she may never get laid again....


Nice, huh? The dress is...well...horrid. I uploaded it to the booty, though, because someone mentioned it might make a great horror story...that toilet picture looks a lot like blood seeping from under the door.
