Dumb question. Isnt Coconut and Sunset hosted by Pescado and would it be possible to have Coconut and benuconom (sorry if I missspelled it) put some buttons up at their site linking to the donation drive?

Yes, both are on our servers. They already both have a front news with the donation drive though. We must get more blogs and sites to talk about the donation drive. We need to spread the word.

Maybe see if you can get some of the finds sites to mention it, while Sims 3 Updates and Spring4Sims might be iffy cause they are pretty closely linked to TSR, Joe over at MS3B, Bozena at Mod the Sims by Bozena, and Mariarita (who does finds for TSC) might be willing to post on their finds blogs. I'd post at FSF but no longer doing finds, no time.

I have donated what I can, will do more if work picks up before the end of the month (this is my dreadfully short lucky I can make the rent and buy food month for work)

Threw the problem to the other two admins and they've put it onto me to write the post for the users of InSIM. Hope I can come up with something which will open some pocket books to help out here, but my attention is divided at the moment between my son, my daughter and the impending (next week or so, we're hoping) delivery of her progeny and various other things on my side of the monitor. I'll do my best and hope it brings in some bucks from our users.

By progeny, you mean child? If so, congrats on becoming a grandmother.

Yep, I do mean child and thanks, Levini, means a lot. Being four years short of fifty (or 48 + 2 in Pescado parlance), I'm quite a bit behind when compared to most of the members of my High School class, most of whom became grandparents when they were in their late thirties. Then again, a good many of them got a jump months before graduation while some of us were more careful reproductively.

I donated a little and plan to again before the month is out. I'll make an announcement at Plumbbob Keep (medievalsims) so hopefully that will help too. Life without maty and booty isn't worth living...uh at least for Sims.

There are two versions up at InSIM for people to read; one is for the lazy to average type person who has the attention-span granted to viewing amusing commercials on You Tube and nothing but those and the other is what has been labeled the tl;dr version for those who can make sense out of more than the Dear Abbey section of their local newspaper...
