My issue with the TSR comic book is that there might very well be some poking fun of looks.  No, I had not planned to have pages and pages of "Let's insult Atwa's and Thomas's looks"  but for the idea I have, the fact that Anita isn't very easy on the eyes (especially in Sim form) might be mentioned more than once.  Also, it may very well be mentioned that she's insane.  Yes, being a "Comic book" and Sims, things are always a bit exaggerated, but I'm not going to do this if I have to restrict myself to being 100% PC.

I'm not trying to bring up bad times or past issues, but there was quite a lot of whoop and holler over being mean to Atwa and Thomas and a general opinion was that we were no longer supposed to ever point out that we feel Atwa is not very good looking and her and Thomas are both not very stable.   

That whole incident brought on an avalanche of negativity to the site that I would not like to see repeated again and I really don't want to be the cause of it.  The idea isn't good enough to start that bullshit again.  I don't want to publish something that will cause other members to leave this site, because I'm too mean, or to cause this site to lose financial support it needs either.

Good point.  It would be horrible if people left the site or thought all pirates are mean just because someone made a joke they shouldn't have.  Still, there is got to be a way to make a funny comic series without evil jokes.  It doesn't have to be PC either (because PC is total bullshit).  I guess you just have to focus more on the dirtiness of TSR's business than personal attacks on them.  There has got to be a happy medium between everything, although I don't know what it is.  From what i saw in comic strip you posted here, you should be clever enough to figure it out.
