I like those commercials. I just now realized your avatar is animated. Sad I know.

YES! Loved those. I hear that little tune they played with it every time I think of those commercials. Best ever. Also, they remind me of George Clooney.

I like those commercials. I just now realized your avatar is animated. Sad I know. I think it's great! I looked after you wrote that, and now I noticed. That's because it's a slow animation, not an imitation of Peggy's site - thus I've read astonished lemon's posts without noticing. So thanks AL and Feverish.

Wasn't quite a bit of the movie done in the Disney studios based in Australia before they closed them? I remember reading that somewhere.

Yep - plus live footage of our Sydney Harbour and Great Barrier Reef, which was then rendered into digital. But it's most important that they have US actors - we Aussies are incomprehensible to USian ears.

My high school was a sister school to some high school in Australia and their basketball team would come over in the winter every year (their summer) and play basketball with ours. I remember thinking they had about the sexiest accents ever. Then again, I'm enamored by just about any accent that isn't American. Especially Scottish (Paolo Nutini is yum).

I love most accents as long as they're spoken in a deep sexy voice. One accent that has been bugging the hell outta of me is the one that Sarah Palin has. Maybe I'm biased because I'm not voting for her, but every time I hear her on tv, I cringe and turn the channel. Her voice drives me nuts.

That would be a right wing fundy rhetoric patois and ya it tends to grate on the nerves after a bit.

I've never really had a problem with the what people call the Aussie accent. Boston, yes. Aussie, no.
