GAH! I'll be the first to admit that I sort of liked those planets s/he did for my story, but this looks like God got drunk on cheap coctails and barfed all over the universe.

Well, I could see the black hole being good for a scifi story. However, showing a black hole on a sunny, cloud strewn sky is just... dense. Who would see that stuff looking up at the sky when the sun is shining?
I'd be more impressed if they showed them in a night sky. Then I could see if you were making your lot to look like a space ship and trying to give the impression that you were living in space (Star Trek style, baby!) that they would be useful. But the person wasted it by showing them on a daylight sky.

That creation is good in one aspect - that first screenshot made me giggle for a couple of minutes straight. GALAXIES BEING SUCKED INTO A BLACK HOLE...on a bright, warm sunny day. XD Ginormous planets, the same size as entire galaxies...wow.
On the other hand, if you ever wanted to make a sims story about what happened the night the King of All Cosmos got drunk and ruined the universe, you've got your content already here.

If you were going to make astral bodies wouldn't it be better to make something that made sense? Like the two suns of Tatooine or something? I already feel crushed by the weight of economic uncertainty; I don't need a visual respresentation of the universe being sucked into oblivion. And I didn't realize that was a black hole at first. I thought it was a bloated blue planet.

Its TSR logic, don't try to figure it out. And I think they would be great for a story talking about how Thomas and all his little slaves got sucked up in a black hole, and never heard from again. |
