Is it me or is that couch/loveseat almost exactly like one we've already got in the game?

I hate redundant meshes.  ("Lookie lookie, I made a couch that looks almost exactly like one of the ones in the base game.  But, it's a whole new mesh!")  but, I can't really fault people for doing it.  People love to download new meshes more than they like to download recolors of the same meshes.  I don't get why this is, but that's the way it works.

The only thing in the game is the sofa, I think that is supposed to match it.  I love matching stuff, but it's redundant.  Been done before several times and for free.

Free items on paysites are fine to post. The pay stuff is often more hideous, though, imo.

As for the Chaz monstrosities: That's not Teri Hatcher, that's Medusa with a bad dye job.

Here's two of my pet peeves.  These examples are from Lianasims2, but really, this crap shows up everywhere, far too many examples to list.  It's an epidemic.  Yes, this is old news.  What upsets me is that people are still doing this, years after they should have learned better.

People!  We've had better meshes for a looong time now!  Use them!
None of the shirts here look like they should be super snug boob hugging camis.
Even camis don't go right up under boobs, unless they have built in bras.

edit: The picture above shows my pet peeve #3, spray painted bottoms on a naked leg mesh.
At least these are supposed to be leggings, but I bet the jean shorts have naked butt cheek shape in back.
Also, those leggings look like bucket fill.  That's pet peeve #4.

Is this deliberate?  Ok, I get some bikinis have hip hugger bottoms, but come on!
Who has half their butt hanging out?  Want to show your ass, wear a thong, please.
Maybe these creators just can't make proper alphas?

Yeah, they're hotlinked.  Maybe you have lianasims2 adblocked?

edit: The back of this bikini bottom not only exposes half her butt, but also seems to be giving her a wedgie.  Or it just looks like she tied a gold scarf around her butt, from the back.  Moar alpha phail.


edit2: Actually, I should commend Milano for being honest enough to show the back at all.  Many creators don't do this and then you get a shock in game.
