There - turns out the problem seemed to be with GIMP - got Photoshop and it worked - here is my first texture - its done as a fabric, but honestly, for showing off, walls work best.

SoggyFox, I actually really like that as wallpaper. It looks like that flocked velvet stuff that I adore, even though I'd never actually put on my walls.

Twilight is that movie where angsty vampires do each other’s makeup in high school, right? And instead of sunlight exploding them, it turns their skin into body glitter? I’m not judging you, man. That’s a really, really cool thing to enjoy. --Seanbaby

Dr House thank you so much.. Smiley I spent a fair while on her.. I wanted to avoid that "bubblehead" we all hate so much. BTG, that house is gorgeous. Smiley I'm going to put it in my playing neighborhood for TS2.. Smiley I love stuff with a Victoriana feel. Do I need to join LJ to download? Smiley

Ok, I have two TS3 related questions for you guys, I'm getting ready to put together some content for Sublime.. Do you prefer Sims in the package installer format or straight out of the saved Sims folder? Secondly, I'm creating room sets and I want to know.. if I share them in the TS3 installer format, can anyone download that, or should I be grabbing the file from somewhere else?

Hey!
I have it set up like that so I can keep track of who is downloading what, BUT if you PM me an email addy to send it too, I'll do that for you. I am working on another one now. Can't sleep tonight, too much running through my head. LOL

Just finished this set. They're based on the KARLSTAD armchair and draw their textures from that chair. I attempted floor shadows but forgot to turn them on during the test run. I imagine they should be fine.

If anyone can use it, I've got one of the standard TS3 game patterns done in William Morris red and golds up on the exchange.. http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=126411

It's done for an Arts and Crafts (Victoriana) type home for TS3 which I'm still working on. Smiley

Hey Again!

I changed the settings on my LJ so anyone could see the posting and will do that from now on. I would ask though that people leave me comments and help me improve my stuff. I'd love the feed back and constructive criticism. I have emailed the link to you though Saraswati. Cheesy

Kath I guess sims as saved folder is better: less garbage left by the installer. I can use the installer for the arrred store stuff, but I can't download anything from the exchange (Arg. Want your pattern Sad). Packages are so easier to handle, simply put it in the correct directory and it works immediately. Clean and quick.
Gosh these two patterns you guys made are awesome! Cheesy wantwantwant! Where can I haz?

Another bed with an upholstered insert. This one is based on the Maxis Sleepwave 42 bed and pulls its textures from that bed. The inset is linked to the bedding.

I'd been secretly hoping and praying that someday someone would make Shady's fabulous eyes on Anva's fabulous scelera base. And what do you know-- folks aren't prone to fullfilling my unspoken/untyped secret desires.

So I did it myself, combining two of my favoritest eyesets on the interwebz-- Shady's mesmerizing eyes http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=327436

And Anva's fickle eyes: http://www.digitalperversion.net/gardenofshadows/index.php?topic=4776.0

First off, Oolong those eyes are gorgeous!

OK from me, a new house...

http://phantasma-sims.livejournal.com/

Also, on a side note, I will also be include an unfurnished file for my houses for those that don't have clean installer, or who prefer unfurnished files instead in the near future. I use to do that when I had my own site, just for convenience for others. I just have to go in and delete all the stuff out of them for the two on LJ. Will do that today or tomorrow. Smiley

I may do some recolors on some walls and floors, and art. I have some ideas running through my head. Just don't know how they will pan out. I may also start placing my old files from my site and MTS2 on the LJ. Haven't decided yet though.
