Well I tried and failed with that mesh with Banksy's art.

I went to check in game on the art I'd done with pixelhate's mesh, and it was all blocky, whereas with Aikea's it was "normal?"
I really liked Aikea's mesh, the only prblem with it is that it's only one tile. I wonder if she does requests

cookiepirate, where in the world did you find those house numbers that you used on your lot? I've been searching for some, and only found ones that came on a plaque. I obviously need to take landscaping courses from you and FilthyPriest. Those lots are both gorgeous (as is the sim!).

I believe those are by wildstar24 at TSR (free).

Anyway, I deleted them from in game so I didnt take screenies to show, so I shall just continue using Aikea's mesh, but whoever downloads the art (when I eventually finish them) will have to set it out in the right way.

I have a 3 tile wall stencil here if that'll help.

That lot is beautiful and I have used it a couple times despite hardly ever using comm lots. The way you placed the plants was very natural.

You'll have to wait a while longer  . I'm still working on the design inside, and I'm not sure whether or not to furnish it. I might upload a furnished and an unfurnished version.

I'm really chuffed that you like it. Usually my houses are on perfectly flat lots, just rectangles with rooms inside, but I've really enjoyed doing this. It's been a challenge  And, a lot of new stuff learned.

I don't think you need to contribute by creating - thanking people for their stuff, giving feedback when asked, testing files for people and making requests are all valid forms of participation and contribution.

It can even be as simple as showing some cc in a screenshots just in the normal gameplay thingie (I read a creator recently who squeed over the fact that someone loved her stuff so much they used it in a screenshot).

You're also doing service to others, by doing this kind of thing. I don't have time to trawl sites looking for a piece of scrummy CC. I don't know many free sites at all, but if I see something I like in a screenshot, I always ask the creator where they got it from.
It advertises for those who make really nice stuff, you know
