Random participation in an ongoing thread, with thoughts which may not be on topic since I haven't read the previous 30 some odd pages...

I hate TSR.  I wouldn't normally use such a strong word, but my feelings have not changed over the years toward that place so.. there we have it.

I have one creation up there, which I can't get removed... ts1... its called Tia.  It was uploaded six years ago, when the entire website was free.

When they announced the subscription system and started the rotation crap, I posted to the forums about wanting to remove my upload.  I never agreed to let them profit off it.  My post was deleted.  When they implemented the new website, someone created an account with my upload author name... you'd think they would have backed up the old author+email DB huh.

So my upload was in limbo, not associated to any account, not even the new Ren.  The author link pointed directly to my email address.  Sometime later, about a year I think, and after several emails, I managed to get it associated to my account, but still not removed.  I gave up, flipped the site the bird, and started my own site.  And Tia is available at my current site because TSR's policy can kiss my ass.  Their user agreement isn't legal anyway, especially when it concerns BMP files.

Lots of my texture theft issues stem from TSR too, but thats for another thread or something.

This ought to make several SA's happy.  As far as I know, SA's are not asked, they are just given SA status.  FA's are asked (right? Nouk said she was asked and turned it down).  So, if this is true, then all those SA's that were made before this announcement did not agree to anything.  But now they have rules and obligations.
