that alone should give TSR the message, if their preview pics were removed from a photo sharing utility because they were too smutty

I don't know if this has been brought up or not( I only actually READ the first 20 or so pages)I've been thinking about those profiles, this is what some of them could be (I hope)

around where I live,Ohio USA  police go on line and act like kids, to lure pedo's out, they go in chat rooms, and places Pedo's are likely to hang out, act like a little kid wait for someone to start talking to them, they'll say things like " I'm not happy at home, i hate my mom and dad, I wish I could run away, stuff like that,a city near me was one of the first to do it, they've been doing it about 10 years now, they've caught welll over a hundred so far, sometimes they talk to them for over a year, some come from over a 1000 miles away in hopes of getting a young kid, they meet at a hotel, and are greeted by police officers and a set of handcuffs, there's at least 1 a month in the news
not too long ago they caught a guy, when they looked in his car they found a shovel, rope and a burlap bag in the trunk, you know what he had planned
not saying that is what they are, but TSR would be a perfect place to go trolling for pedos

now the whole slutty outfits thing is a completly different story though

Hey guys, just something you might want to keep in mind when quoting someone that has posted a picture: cut out the image tags or the image is repeated again. It's not needed and it's a real bitch for those of them on dial-up because it takes their page just that much longer to load. It also helps to conserve a bit of space on the server and I'm all for that!

Oh yeah, it's hell for those of us on dial up. Sometimes it's so slow I have to disconnect and then redial because I think somebody might have called.

They're remote loaded, so they don't do anything to the server, and, if it's within the same page, it doesn't get reloaded.  Actually, if you have a cache set on your browser, it shouldn't even reload again between pages.

However, it does get tiring scrolling past things... XP

I don't mind people quoting images if the image is from a previous page.  I mean, I can't be the only one who's too lazy to go back a page or thirty just to see what someone is talking about.

Since i'm lazy as Ensign, picture quoting can be helpful but only under two conditions: if the quoting pic is in the same page as the original posted pic then it's a 'don't want' and the quoter will look like a dork. And if there's more than one pics, only keep one for god's sake. But i can imagine that on dial it must be a real pain, so i rarely quote a pic. That is called "living in society", meh

People complain about that sometimes, and then they say it is the people using their computer to go to shady places that causes the more risque ads to be there.  That they totally didn't do it.  It's you and your porn addiction.  Or, well, that's not on the site, you have to leave to go to that site, and well, that picture isn't that bad...

i'm curious...are you saying that you will only see porn ads on TSR if you do go to porn sites at other times, due to the cookies and such? Hmmm...that is interesting, if true.  I never saw porn ads on TSR, I didn't know they even had them!! VERRRY interesting.

I keep getting the damn "New Business Class" crap from Air New Zealand clogging up and overflowing on the adspaces on TSR for me *shrug*. I just find it amusing that it's always the same overpriced business class crap on tsr.

No TSR porn for me  (Unless you count the visual rape from the crappy items).
