apparently google has never heard of it either migamoo. it only shows up when its mentioned on other sites.
Code:
http://www.promiscuous-angel.de.vu/

I'm guessing it's another trojan sent by ads? I don't see any ads so I don't know.

they note noukie as a custom content credit yet spell the url wrong so anybody who would want to go there would have to google her (none of the credit links are clickable anyways--i think that was done intentionally)

anyways i remember going to the site once before...when it first opened and bines had featured it...they had something up about how this was their new site and I can't remember what their old site was...so even if you haven't been to this particular site you probably went to their old one...it probably had a weird name too lol

Which anti-virus software are you using? Do you recall the name of the trojan that your AV software reported? Do you know if it came from a pop-up or if it was in a file you downloaded?

I went and I got the trojan from pop-ups. It was in my temporary internet files. I think the other site was lifestyle-sims2.de.vu or something like that (just guessing this one). Anyway I got a trojan there too (the same one). So I download The Cleaner, and I'm seriously thinking of downloading a firewall as well.

Also, the person from whom I heard it says the trojan is an IEpagespoof. She had both McAfee and Avast running and still got it.

For what it is worth, I use Firefox and managed to dodge the Simchic virus (and all subsequent ones).

I too use firefox, with pop-ups disabled.

There are a lot of exploits that target IE specifically, due to the bugginess of it. I don't recommend anyone running IE, ever. heh.

I agree. I almost never use IE unless I really have to, and if I do I always run a scan afterwards. Firefox is so much safer and now I never get any popups. Yea!

I'm also leery of where I visit online.  I know I'm overly cautious but that's because about 2 years ago I was hit with 4 trojans after downloading a program for my Sim's game which was a bitch to get rid of. They were really ugly ones too  . Took me awhile to search them out.

Thanks  for the warning .
