Okay, some random comments from the various posts here:

1. WOOT! I'm public enemy number one!

2. To be clear, I sent an email to EVERY paysite owner. (See copy of email here.) I seem to have allowed my real name to go through (I thought I changed it but hotmail's a bitch), so I half expect hate mail in my personal email anytime now. Woot.

3. KILLMARK simply means 'due to actions taken by a member here, and because we are named, a paysite has gone free. Meaning...we killed off the "pay" in "paysite".'

4. I happen to be a college-educated, card-carrying member of Mensa, so I dare anyone to go toe-to-toe with me intellectually. I'll eat them for breakfast.

5. I have never presented myself as an EA employee. I have been VERY clear that I am a member of the TS2 community and an avid fan of the game. AND that as such, I feel strongly that all user-created content should be free. And I'll use whatever ammunition I have in hand.

6. I did join the Main Street Sims Yahoo group yesterday to clarify my letter and to congratulate Jan on her decision to go free. I further offered financial assistance and advertising. I see it made a great deal of difference. <smirk>

I think that's all.

Of course, since I've clearly touched a few nerves, all this could just mean I'm an obnoxious know-it-all pain-in-the-ass that needs to shut the fuck up for a while so y'all can go about the business of killing paysites.

You know what? Parents really should pay more attention to what their kids do on line and find them something else to do during the day. They have day camps in West Virginia, I believe. She needs to go to camp or something and get some social skills. I guarantee you that this Jen or Jan or Charlotte and her "BFF Jill" who just trolled us, are 12.

People are far too sensitive nowadays (ie. Jan, redduckie) Let their nerves be damaged they deserve it.

I feel though for the members of that Mainstreet yahoo group that paid any amount of donation. They fell for pouty lies and duplicitous deception on Jan' and her partner's part. These donators gave up real money thinking they were being helpful by supporting a nice Sims 2 site. Never once suspecting in all actuality that they were being played by money pigs. Paysite owners really make me sick.

Why is it they never bother to "respect the wishes" of EA by actually folowing the TOS that they agreed to in the first place?
