Seriously, folks.  I came here initially intending to talk and get your reasoning and ideas about your beliefs.  However, when I got to this site and saw a bunch of folks playing at a game of 'pirate', I sincerely believed this had to be a group controlled by a bunch of pre-adolescents.  LOL.  What would you think?  Oh, wait!  Y'all made the same assumption about my screen name!  So, there-in lies the rub, folks.  Totally wrong foot.

So, I come here today to have some fun and play around.  What do I see?  I see a bunch of folks who truly believe what they are saying they think is right, and making the same assumptions I am.  Opposition means 'bad'.  Not so.  Whilst sparring with you all tonight, I see that we do have things in common.  We like a good argument.  We like to goof around. And we are all stubborn.

Basically, in a nut shell, the only thing we don't have in common is that you folks want to 'destroy' my site.  IN a way. I can respect that.  Even though I won't let it happen by your methodology and ideals.  Because, although I can respect your beliefs, I still do not agree with them.

Which brings us to, I guess, one other difference.  I still believe free and pay can co-exist and still work together in the community.  And you don't.

Just as an FYI, so you can kinda know me a bit more...I am in my 30's. Have a family, and am a Manager in a large Int'l Transportation Company.  So I am neither a child, nor am I stoopid.  I work in a high stress industry, and this is my outlet.  I goof off when off-duty.

And honestly, it is not a legal threat.  I have spoken to my countries federal authorities, as well as emailed IC3 (FBI internet crime division) and they did give me very clear critieria for which they may pursue intellectual property theft.  Whether I go through with it or not is of no concern, as if I do not, others will.


And armywife, it may surprise you to know that it would not surprise me in the least to find out some of the 'lurkers' on here are prominent in the Community.  Actually, I quite expected it.  I know enough to know that there are double standards and hypocrites on both sides of the fence.
